Episode 32
Random: Company? Nope... Fearless?
Fearless: Not me, this could be bad.
Zehese: (whispers) Commander Farsight, go and check, see who's out there and be quiet about it.
Farsight: Quiet? Ok.
(Commander Farsight steps out of the door, sword in hand)
Farsight: (shouts) WHO GOES THERE!?
Zehese: (hangs head) Oh dear.
Nolan: (laughs) Farsight doesn't really do quiet.
Fearless: Shhhh Nolan.
(Suddenly a pure silver sword flys through the door and embeds itself in the tentpost next to Nolan's head. It has a gold double crested DT on the hilt)
(Commander Farsight looks back over his shoulder and seeing the sword runs out into the ruins to find who is there)
Nolan: Random.
Random: Not now.
Nolan: But Random, do you see that crest, the DT.
Fearless: He's right... could it be?
Random: Dagoth Truth? Don himself? Never.
Fearless: FARSIGHT STOP!
(They run to the door)
(At that moment emerging from the ruins in the desert a mighty figure can be seen, dressed head to foot in shining green and dragon scale crafted into various armors. On the figure's back is a dazed and confused looking Commander Farsight with what appears to be a broken nose)
(He steps into the light of the tent)
???????: What stupid fool left this guy on guard?
Random: DAGOTH!!!
Fearless: DON!!!
Nolan: DAGGY HIMSELF!!!
Dagoth: Hello chaps, you know, you people are extremely hard to keep up with, your never in the same place for more than a few days.
Random: What on earth happened to you? That green dude? He took you!?
Dagoth: Yeah, I never did quite understand all of that, seemed very angry with me though, kept talking about you three... to be honest I don't think he cared much for me at all, more trouble than I was worth, so he banished me, left me naked on a small isle in the far far north east.
Fearless: He just left you to die?
Dagoth: Well he certainly wasn't going to get anything out of me, and almost managed to escape a few times when he did that whole vanishing into green mist rubbish.
Nolan: Green dude, missing, naked, Isle. But then how did you get off that Isle?
Dagoth: Sea turtles. Two of them tied together, amanged to ride them as far south as what I thought was safe land. Turned out to be a cursed place full of dragons, old ruin's there though, gave me a place to hide and build my strength back up. Since then it's just been attempting escape and coming back to you guys... with a slight detour of course to pick up my sword.
(He casually walks over and pulls his sword out of the tentpost)
(Zehese now looking especially dazed and confused for a normally relaxed chap gathers himself and says...)
Zehese: Who is this guy?
Random: Oh, terribly sorry, this is Dagoth.
Nolan: Don to his friends.
Random: It is one of my vice-leader's in the Truth Empire, fought alongside all of us at the Battle for Darashia, he was the chap I was telling you about who was taken by that strange green dude who keeps appearing and threatening to kill us.
Zehese: Ah I see, in which case, please to meet you sir, it's an honor.
Dagoth: Thankyou.
Zehese: That's a very interesting armor you've got there. Head to foot in dragon scale mail?
Dagoth: Well I would have got a bit more creative but unfortunatly that's all I had to work with while on that second Isle, plus it's very strong and amazingly heat resistant.
Zehese: Truely impressive.
Dagoth: Well, put it this way, it's tried and tested against a fair stronghold of Devil's Alliance supporters and flaming arrows seriously fail against this armor.
Fearless: What Devil's Alliance supporters?
Dagoth: There was an encampment to the far north of Darashia which I took care of before I headed down towards you chaps.
Zehese: An entire encampment by yourself?
Dagoth: I told you, I had to get my sword back, luckily those fools had no idea what they were doing with it, simply had it on a rock, if they knew it was one of the greatest sword's ever built then i'm sure it would have been alot harder.
Zehese: One of the greatest sword's ever built?
Random: Yup, and one of the empire's best kept secrets i'm afraid Zehese, you see it's the Sword of Truth.
Zehese: I see, well if we all get through this ok you shall have to enlighten me about it someday.
(Commander Farsight, who has been out cold in a chair for most of this, suddenly comes around)
Farsight: Argh, ah! What's happening?
Random: Relax, he's with us, just a misunderstanding.
Farsight: Oh I see, well you might have wanted to mention that before he broke my nose, I've never seen anyone that fast before.
Dagoth: Sorry about that, I recognised you from the lower ranks in the Empire but didn't mean to hit you that hard.
Farsight: Don't worry about it, not the first time.
Zehese: Well, if you truely are as good as you seem to be, what would you say to leading the charge at Ankrahmun's main gates during the battle?
Dagoth: Sounds like a plan.
(They continuing planning about the Battle, looming in only two days time, and catching up on the details of Don's survival)
